Google New 2015 Logo, Icon Introduction - Evolution and History

Google released its new logo on September 1st of 2015. This is the seventh logo of Google, the new new one is replacing the previous logo's serifed form for a simplified sans-serifed typeface. Google stated in their official blog that the new logo "has taken the best of Google" as being simple, uncluttered, colorful and friendly.
Google released their first logo in 1997 during the developing stage as for the beta testing version of Google it was named as BackRub.
