How to Add Ubundu to Windows 8 UEFI boot menu for Multiboot

Best solution for the multi-booting Windows 8, Windows 7 and Ubundu together.Windows 8 has an attractive boot menu than all windows and other operating systems.Well attractive graphics is maintained throughout the boot menu with advanced settings in it. So follow the below steps to add Ubundu to the windows 8 boot menu easily without harming the boot of your PC.

You must have to make 3 partitions of drives , and install the three of the operating systems in this three drive partitions respectively.

• Create a new drive in windows without any software
• Shrink any existing drive to create more drives

The trick works with the help of a software named EasyBCD

• So you have to download EasyBCD software 
• Get EasyBCD software from our file search engine

  Now follow the three steps......

Step 1

• Now log on to windows 8 and install software EasyBCD in it..

• Now run the program as administrator..

Then the software window opens , here begins the real work…

• In the operating system options select Linux/BSD

• In the type option select GRUB 2

• In name option give any name for eg: Ubundu

• Device will be automatically configured
• Now click ADD Entry option

 

You have completed first step...........

Step 2

• In the operating system options select Linux/BSD

• In the type option select SysLinux

• In name option give any name for eg: Ubundu

• In device option select the drive in which you have installed Ubundu Operating system

• Now click ADD Entry option

 

You have completed 2nd step..............

Step 3

• Click on BCD Deployment option on the left side of the window

• In the MBR Configuration Options

• Select Install the windows Vista/7 bootloader to the MBR
• Now click Write MBR

 

You have successfully completed the 3 steps............

• Now reboot your PC

The new updated windows 8 boot menu will appear which also contain a third boot option of Ubundu.

 

Click that option to load Ubundu.
After clicking on it your PC will reboot and you may be directed to Ubundu OS or you may get Ubundu boot menu , in that you can select Ubundu  option to load the Ubundu OS.
