Actions to be done when you lose your Mobile....

Trace your lost mobile phone with IMEI number of your phone. 

Requirements:

• IMEI number of your phone.

You can get IMEI number of your phone by dialing  *#06# from your phone.

 IMEI number of your phone plays big role in the phone security.
So you just note your phone's IMEI number now itself.

Immediate actions to be done when you lose your phone:

• First Search everywhere as you can and make sure the phone is permanently lost,

After the confirmation of loss, you can follow the below steps:

• Contact your sim service provider and request to block your sim by providing necessary information to them.

This to protect your sim and avoid misuse of your sim. 

Then here comes the role of IMEI number of your phone,

• Contact the nearest police station or cyber cell with your phone's IMEI number and other details.

If you had not noted your  phone's IMEI number you can find IMEI number on the phone's purchase bill or with the cover.
